How Far Am I?

I seem lost tracking my pregnancy these days due to farming in my backyard. All I can remember is I'm in my five months pregnancy. To make sure I also know how far am I in weeks, I visited one website that I used when I was pregnant with my first born. So I am now in my 19 weeks of pregnancy, the bump is getting big and heavy everyday. Heartburn is becoming my enemy these days but drinking a cup of milk before bedtime helps a lot. Since I did it, I noticed no more recurring bad dreams that make me shiver and frightened when I wake up in the morning. There are still dreams but they are not as bad as the previous nights. I also feel I get tired easy after just a few minutes of movement or doing my chores yet I choose to be active as I can and walk in the neighborhood if the weather permits. It's not only beneficial for the baby but for my body as well as Jadyn's.

Photos below are recent shots of my bump. Take a look at them and tell me if I look heavy now.

... photo above taken just a week ago at my OB GYN's office.. this was before we know our baby's gender...

...... the photo right here was taken just yesterday in our front yard. You might want to click on the picture to see clearly how big is the bump now....

It's A Baby Girl!!!

So the most awaited day has ended, we now know that our second baby is a GIRL. This means another "PRINCESS" addition to our family is coming. August 2,2011 I'll be due. I knew I am going to have a baby girl again, mother instinct is so strong right from the beginning that I didn't even hope for a baby boy or if I did it was only 1% at least.

We already have a name long before we can conceive a baby girl. My husband told me long time ago that if we have another baby and it's a girl we are going to name her, MEGAN. Why? Because it sounds close to MORGAN which is his late father's name and my husband's second name. Since I like the name Megan, I didn't look for another name nor debate with him. But, I was going to spell it this way "MEGHANNE" or "MEGHAN" but my husband thinks it's silly so I stick to the simplest spelling possible. It is simple, easier for the baby to write her name in the future and it has five letters in it same as JADYN. Simple and easy!

A Nice Cop, A Good Husband??

My husband came home from work yesterday thirty minutes late. I don't mind him being late coming home but as a wife I can't help but asked as I am concern of him why. He then told me a story about a woman blocking her vehicle on a highway that caused traffic from backing up. He was on his way to the sector to get off work and go home but then he saw this woman in the middle of the road so he stopped.

To make the story short, he helped her pushed her car to the side (don't know what he did exactly to help her, should be more than pushing car etc...) that made that woman utter such an outstanding compliment to him saying "You are a very nice cop and please tell your wife that she has got a good husband". She said that because several cops have passed by her rushing to go home and nobody seemed to care stopping to know what's going on with her. She actually got her kids with her in the backseat and even those little innocent ones said the same thing, "mommy, wow he is very nice!". It turned out that she wasn't just a black woman but a professional one, a registered nurse...and she was pleased of what officer Sanborn's simple gesture did to her. She was probably tired of being treated like a ghetto by other people 'coz she's black!

Hearing that story from yesterday is very flattering and like music to my heart. I am glad other people see his kindness in him and I, as a wife can't help but admire him more.

Lesson here is that, by doing simple and kind gesture to other people help them know that there are still good people left in this world. A simple gesture that can make someone's day and that's what my husband exactly did to that family. There are still a lot of stories he did from the past that makes me very proud of him. Yes, he's truly a good man and I feel blessed, the luckiest woman exists on earth I have him in my life.
